The Power of Persistence

This is one of my favourite quotes of all time.

I first found this quote on Book: Grinding It Out: The Making of McDonald and then The Founder 2016, a biographical drama film of Ray Kroc, an American businessman. It portrays the story of his creation of the McDonald's fast-food restaurant chain.

Calvin Coolidge's quote on Persistence

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan Press On! has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”
